Israeli universities are not aparthied universities

A copy of the letter sent to AUT by lawyers representing Haifa University, alleging defamation. This letter sets out the university's response to the allegations made by the boycott campaign that Haifa is a racist university and that it contravenes the norms of academic freedom. Here. (May 2005)

A copy of the letter sent to AUT by lawyers representing Hebrew University, Jerusalem, rebutting the allegations made by the boycott campaign against Hebrew University. Here. (May 2005)

The "apartheid swimming pool" at Hebrew University. There were some nasty discriminatory practices that made it difficult for non-Jews to use the sports facility at the Hebrew University. Students protested against this exclusion and the racist practices were stopped.Here.

The "apartheid dorm block policy" at Haifa University. Haifa University had a policy of prioritising students who had completed military service for places in the dorm block. This policy was found to be racist in effect by the Israeli Supreme Court and the policy was reversed. Here.

What goes on at Haifa University then, if it isn't an apartheid University? Here.

Daphna Erdinast-Vulcan, a professor at Haifa University writes this.
