"It should not be difficult to understand that conflict is a distraction from environmental activism and that solving the real environmental issues requires collaboration, not boycott."

and another from Green Party parliamentary candidate Tristan Smith noting the missed opportunity for Greens "to adopt an alternative resolution, one proposed in a spirit of compassion and understanding".
