Mike Cushman, editor of the BRICUP website and leading advocate of excluding academics who work at Israeli institutions from British universities, has published an email from the UCU activists' list on a public website, Just Peace UK. We at Engage hope that Mike Cushman is not excluded from the UCU discussion as a result of this breach of union confidentiality but it will be interesting to see whether Matt Waddup, the member of staff who makes these decisions on behalf of the UCU, will act consistently. When a leading anti-boycott activist committed a trivial breach of confidentiality, he was summarily and permanently excluded from the activists' list.
