Clare Short MP has invited the racist and Islamist party Hizb ut Tahrir to the House of Commons to chat with MPs. Read more on Harry's Place.

Clare Short also thinks that "US backing for Israeli policies of expansion of the Israeli state and oppression of the Palestinian people is the major cause of bitter division and violence in the world".

"I do not think that Hizb ut Tahrir should be banned" says David T from Harry's Place, "it is equivalent to the British National Party, which is permitted to operate."
