A propos of Jenin, that town is an embodiment of one of the myths that sustain European and North American anti-Israeli movements: namely the myth that there are millions of Palestinian refugees waiting to go "home". Few of the original refugees from Israel's first war for existence are still alive today. Most of the residents of Jenin and other "refugee camps" in the West Bank are refugees only according the unique and highly politicised definition used by UNRWA (itself a unique and highly politicised organisation). They would not, for example, be considered refugees by the UNHCR. More on that here:

A place where Norman G. Finkelstein (Beyond Chutzpah, University of California Press) stands stolid, has held anti-Israel art exhibition on campus, allowed Islamic Jihad representatives to set foot there and, ultimately, received Ward Churchill's words as inalienable truth is, definitely, not a good place for Thomas Klocek or one engaged into the sacred priesthood of teaching the truth.
