Why is the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign hosting a fundraiser with Gilad Atzmon, entitled not entirely ambiguously "Zionist Control", where he is due both to speak and to play sax?
Does the SPSC no longer care if it pushes open antisemitism? If there are any anti-racists left in the SPSC, Engage calls on them to end this alliance with the antisemite Gilad Atzmon. It is necessary for the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign to think seriously about how it came to host a racist at one of its events. A quiet dumping of Atzmon will not be sufficient. SPSC needs to understand what it is about their world-view that makes them see an antisemite as an ally to Palestinian solidarity.
